As for purple and brown, they’re getting a subtle makeover. Rather than the bold pair we’re used to, this classic color combination is showing up smoky in 2018. In fact, we’ll be seeing a lot of gray undertones–thanks to the popularity of greige. Pastels will all turn a bit hazy to mix harmoniously with this new foundational shade.
The classic coupling of green and pink came to the forefront in 2017 when Pantone chose Greenery as its Color of the Year.
